We snuggled into bed with our arms around each other and after some wonderful, sexy kisses, we drifted off to sleep. The next morning was a bit of a rush. I had forgotten to set my alarm and woke up to hers, thirty minutes later than I usually do. I had to rush through a shower, dress quickly and skip breakfast. I remembered to give her a key and tore out the door on my way to a coffee shop and work.
Work was work, nothing exciting to report there, but my mind kept going back to Dan and Steff. How was he doing? Did he need anything? And was she thinking about what we might do that night? I know I was. It would still feel weird to have sex without him there, but I had found myself turned on with her at my side and again in bed.
At lunch in a small bistro across the street from our office, I spent the whole time thinking about her, about him and about me. I was crazy about them.
